TULSA, Okla. – Virginia Tech's run at the ITA All-American Championships came to an end on Thursday, as Ryan Fishback and Alberto Orso fell in the second round of the doubles main draw, while Fishback also dropped his singles match.
After advancing on Wednesday with a 7-5, 7-6 (4) win over Tulsa's Pierce Rollins, No. 19 Fishback was matched up with No. 25 Ozan Baris of Michigan State in the Round of 16. Baris defeated Fishback, 6-2, 6-1.
Later in the afternoon, No. 28 Fishback/Orso faced No. 10 Zhang/Heller of Duke and fell, 7-6 (7), 7-5.
