CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The ACC on Monday announced a new football scheduling model that will go into effect beginning with the 2024 season.

With the additions of Cal, SMU and Stanford, each ACC school will continue to play eight conference games per season with all 17 teams facing each other at least twice through the next seven years (once at home and once on the road). Under the new schedule rotation, the league's current 14-team membership will also play three times each in California before 2030 with no team traveling to the west coast during consecutive seasons.

During the 2024 season, Virginia Tech will face Boston College, Clemson, Georgia Tech and Virginia at home while traveling to Duke, Miami, Stanford and Syracuse. The Hokies' 2024 nonconference slate includes trips to Old Dominion and Vanderbilt, as well as home dates against Marshall and Rutgers.

The new scheduling format preserves 16 annual matchups, including Virginia-Virginia Tech and restores the Virginia Tech-Miami rivalry from the divisional format. The Hokies' opponents over the next seven years can be found here.

The ACC will continue to operate without divisions, and the top two teams based on conference winning percentage will compete in the ACC Football Championship Game on the first Saturday in December at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 2024 ACC Football schedule with specific game dates for all matchups will be announced at 9 p.m. ET on Jan. 31, 2024, as part of ACC Network's ACC Huddle: 2024 Schedule Reveal.

The best way to guarantee access to tickets for future seasons is by purchasing season tickets. Season tickets for the Hokies' 2024 campaign offer the most price-conscious option on a per-game basis along with the many exclusive benefits they provide to the most loyal of Tech supporters.

For those that need to renew their season tickets, the second early RenewALL deadline is Nov. 15. By doing so, the donor will receive 15 priority points, which is a $750 value.
