Read below to see what they had to say.
Head Coach Brent Pry
On the defense multiple stops in short yardage:
"I think first of all it's the mindset the kids had. They were determined in those moments. It wasn't a give up. I've been places where it felt like if it's that short, we're probably not going to stop them. This group, very proud of the coaches and the players, the way they stepped up in those moments. I think it's a mindset and I thought we had the right structure. I thought we did the right things."
Cornerbacks Coach Elijah Brooks
On defense responding well after loss:
"It feels good. The kids had a really good week of preparation and we wanted to go into this game and challenge these guys. We felt like we had a really good plan, but you never really know how the guys are going to perform. So, for them to go out there and to be in a couple of situations where we could have lost momentum to stand firm and to get all of those third and fourth down stops, it was really big for us."
Wide Receiver Stephen Gosnell
On finding success throwing the ball:
"You know, throughout the week, we saw a lot of opportunities in the passing game through outside coverage. We knew they liked to play soft. They were a bend, but don't break type of defense. So, we knew that if we were going to be explosive and win this game, that it was going to come in the passing game. You know, Kyron Drones did a great job dealing the ball."
