BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry announced two support staff additions, Megan Bozzi in the role of director of social media and Michael Conway as assistant director of creative media. These positions are charged with driving the Hokie football brand forward by telling the distinct story of the Virginia Tech football program and it's student-athletes. These positions will also help the Hokies continue to recruit on and off campus at a high level, while touching recruits, fans and supporters with Virginia Tech football content.

Bozzi (Linwood, N.J., Mainland Regional HS) joined Virginia Tech athletics this summer as a digital marketing coordinator, before moving to the position of director of social media for football. Prior to arriving in Blacksburg, she spent a year as a social media content creator with the University of Delaware women's lacrosse team, while competing as a member of the team.

Bozzi spent two years in a similar role as an undergrad at Coastal Carolina University, where she applied photography and videography tools to create content for various social platforms including Instagram and Twitter, all while competing on the lacrosse team. She used extensive knowledge of social media, algorithms and current trends to increase follower engagement and reach. In her new position, Bozzi will create, direct, manage and execute the day-to-day social media content of Virginia Tech's football program.

A summa cum laude graduate of Coastal Carolina University, Bozzi earned a bachelor's degree in recreation and sports management in 2022, receiving the President's award for high academic excellence. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in strategic communications with a focus in digital and social media. A former lacrosse student-athlete, she competed for four years at Coastal Carolina, earning Southern Conference all-tournament honors in 2021. In her senior season at Coastal Carolina, she was a second team all-conference performer in the Atlantic Sun.

Conway (Vienna, Va., George C. Marshall HS) arrives in Blacksburg after serving as the director of recruiting content at Northwestern University since 2018. He was the lead graphic designer and photographer for the football program, while also creating social media content for the athletic department. Conway helped to run the football social media accounts, and executed recruiting content plans, from visit itineraries to flyers, photo shoots and facilities.

He spent the 2017 season as director of football creative design at the United States Naval Academy. Conway previously worked at Virginia Tech as a recruiting assistant and graphic designer and was also the interim assistant director of football and recruiting operations at Boise State University. He served as the head graphic designer and assisted with on-campus recruiting and social media. The Broncos signed the top recruiting class in the Mountain West Conference in 2017. In his current role with the Hokies, Conway will work with Zach Lantz, director of creative media, to meet the graphic design, photography and visual identity needs of the football program.

A native of Vienna, Virginia, Conway graduated from Virginia Tech in 2015 with his bachelor's degree in both Human Resources Management and Marketing Management. He earned a master's in sports administration from Northwestern this past spring.
