Hokie ClubHokie Nation can now jump on purchasing season tickets for the 2024-25 athletics season, which is a reseating year. Doing so at this time allows donors and new buyers the opportunity to maximize payment plan benefits by spreading their payments over multiple periods.
Football, men's and women's basketball season tickets and a gift to the Hokie Scholarship Fund are now available to renew starting Tuesday.
What's new in 2024
- Updated Season Ticket Pricing - After completing a thorough pricing study based on market trends, ticket demand, and consideration for static season ticket prices dating back to 2018, season ticket pricing has been adjusted for 2024.
- Chairbacks for Football Season Ticket Holders in Price Levels 1 through 6 - Starting in 2024, all season tickets for football in price levels 1-6 will include a complimentary and upgraded chairback seat. In past seasons, these add-on chairback seats were available for additional fee. To continue to improve the viewing experience in Lane, all chairback rentals (excluding single-game rentals) will be upgraded to a brand new mesh seat that is more durable and provides more support.
- Fourth Parking Zone Added - In order to maximize parking inventory and space around the stadium, a fourth parking zone has been added to the Hokie Scholarship Fund Benefits Chart. Parking Zones are as follows:
- Zone A: $2,750+ - Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 11
- Zone B: $1,350 - $2,749 - Lots 5, 8
- Zone C: $625 - $1,349 - Lots 7, 12, 16, 19
- Zone D: $25 - $624 - Lots 9, 13, 13A, 14, 18
- Expanded Student Section - The atmosphere and fan experience in Lane Stadium continues to be the top priority for Virginia Tech Athletics. Expanding the student section will not only enhance the atmosphere in Lane, but also create an easier-to-navigate divide between student tickets and general public tickets. Demand for student tickets continues to be at an all-time high, with season tickets selling out for the last nine consecutive seasons.
- Men's Basketball Membership Program - In order to ensure the best environment and maximize attendance for all games in Cassell Coliseum, the standard full-season ticket for Virginia Tech men's basketball will shift to a ticket membership program in 2024-25. This membership model provides a guaranteed ticket to all conference home games with the opportunity to claim non-conference games during a separate claim window. The goal of the model is to improve the number of ticket holders who make it to Cassell for early season games which creates a better home court advantage in Cassell Coliseum.
- Renumbering Lane & Cassell - To make directions easier for all within Lane Stadium and Cassell Coliseum, both of these venues will be completely renumbered so that everything is in sequential order for the 2024-25 season and the future.
Reseating Year in 2024
The 2024-25 athletics year will be a full reseating year for both Lane Stadium and Cassell Coliseum, and due to that, all tickets will be renewed at the lowest priced tier for each venue. All seating and parking locations will be reset, giving current and prospective season ticket holders the chance to improve their priority point ranking, which, in turn, will potentially enhance their seating and parking for the next three years.
The best way for fans to improve their ranking is by increasing their priority point totals. Early incentive deadlines have been set to reward those who renew, give, or buy new tickets before the final deadline on Friday, March 1. Make plans now to take advantage of early renewal incentives to maximize the opportunity to improve your priority point ranking.
