The third and final week of the NFL preseason concluded this past Sunday, in preparation for the upcoming regular-season kickoff game on Thursday, Sept. 7.
 
Former Virginia Tech football players showcased their talents once again, and we're back with another preseason breakdown in this week's edition of NFL Hokies, presented by Coca-Cola.

Notable Preseason Week 3 Performances

Tyrod Taylor
In a close game between the New York Jets and New York Giants, Taylor went 2 for 4 in the air racking up 5 passing yards and 3 rushing yards for the Giants.
 
Raheem Blackshear
Starting his second NFL season, the Panthers running back racked up 3 carries for 9 rushing yards against the Detroit Lions.


Joey Slye
Following last week's game-winning 49-yard field goal against the Ravens, Commanders' kicker Slye hit another extra point contributing to Washington's win against the Cincinnati Bengals.
 
Chamarri Conner
The rookie showcased his talents once again with 3 assisted tackles in the Kansas City Chiefs win over the Cleveland Browns.
