Off and running, the NFL held Week 2 of preseason action this past weekend, with games taking place between Friday-Monday.

Virginia Tech football once again had spotlight on its former players and we break that down below with another edition of NFL Hokies, presented by Coca-Cola.

Notable Preseason Week 2 Performances

Joey Slye
The kicker turned in a day, going 3-for-3 for field goals and 2-for-2 on extra points against the Ravens, including a game-winning 49-yard field goal with nine seconds left. The win for the Commanders marked the Ravens' infamous 24-game winning streak for the preseason

Chamarri Conner
The rookie shined once again, recording four tackles, including two solo, and a pass deflection against the Cardinals.
 
Terrell Edmunds
With his new team, the Eagles safety put together a four-tackle performance (3 solo) versus the Browns.

 
Tyrod Taylor
Now in his 13th season, the New York Giants quarterback went 9 for 13 in the air and racked up 90 passing yards and a touchdown against the Panthers.

Raheem Blackshear
Facing Taylor and the Giants, the Panthers running back tallied eight carries for 31 rushing yards and a touchdown.

James Mitchell
A tight end for the Detroit Lions, Mitchell hauled in two passes for 15 yards versus the Jaguars.
