GREENSBORO, N.C. – Virginia Tech men's soccer goalkeeper Connor Jordan-Hyde was named to the ACC Preseason Watch List on Wednesday, per a league release.
Entering his sixth year with the program, Jordan-Hyde looks likely to take the top spot in the Hokies' goalkeeper rotation for the 2023 season. He'll assume that role following Ben Martino's two-year reign as Tech's No. 1 goalkeeper after Martino signed a professional contract with Nashville SC during the offseason.
A native of Leawood, Kan., Jordan-Hyde has made two career starts – both coming in the 2022 campaign. On Oct. 4, 2022, he became the first Hokies keeper to record a clean sheet in his debut since eventual MLS Draft pick Ben Lundgaard achieved the feat in 2014.
