CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Earlier this week, Sports Business Journal (SBJ) named its Power Players in Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) and Virginia Tech Athletics' collective, Triumph NIL, was named to the prestigious list, cementing Virginia Tech's status as a leader in the NIL space.
SBJ examined the top entities in NIL, with who's doing the deals, who's setting the trends, who's making the most of the dynamic space and who is best positioned for the future.
Triumph was one of nine collectives on the list and has put a focus on content creation, ranging from podcasts of Virginia Tech student-athletes, meet and greets, shoutouts, live shows and more. It currently has signed over 150 Hokie student-athletes.
