Take one look at Brandon Rechsteiner and one would not guess he is a first-year college student. The Acworth, Ga., native has a physique that is appropriate for the son of longtime professional wrestler Scott Rechsteiner. As for his range? There are viral highlight videos of B-Roc pulling up from three as soon as he crosses halfcourt. Then there are other intangibles – crafty elusiveness to get to the rim, tight ball handling and vocal leadership uncanny for a freshman to possess this early into their career.
He is dedicated to his craft and after observing a few team workouts, one can gain an appreciation for the swagger the point guard possesses. B-Roc is not intimated and carries a persona about him that screams, "I'm here to win." The consensus four-star recruit will no doubt look to make an immediate impact for the Hokies in 2023-24.
Don't miss your chance to join Virginia Tech as a season ticket holder this upcoming season when the Hokies welcome Duke, Virginia, Miami, Louisville, Florida State and more. Be the first to know when season tickets go on sale for the 2023-24 season.
