LAST TIME OUT
- The Hokies are coming off a 17-11 win over Furman on Monday that wrapped up their regular season home slate.
- It was a well-balanced result for Tech, which restricted the Paladins to five goals through the first three quarters.
- Olivia Vergano led the team with four goals, while Maura O'Malley, Ella Rishko and Paige Tyson had three goals apiece.

ON THE DRAW
- Virginia Tech have a scary good draw control tandem in Gresham and Vergano. With 100 and 90 draw controls apiece, they are the only teammates with 90+ this season.
- Gresham, who leads all freshmen in NCAA Division I women's lacrosse in draw controls, reached 100 on the season in Tech's last game and had a school-record 20 draw controls earlier this season against Akron.
- Vergano, who has 163 in her career, already ranks eighth all-time at Virginia Tech.
- Both Gresham and Vergano benefit from the instruction of associate head coach Shannon Jacobitti, who ranks second all-time in Florida's program history in draw controls with 303.
