BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech men' s and women's track and field teams will travel to Walnut, Calif. on Thursday, Apr. 13 - Saturday, Apr. 15 to compete at the Mt. SAC Relays. Members of the distance squad will also be competing at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific on April 13 - 15 , and the Beach Invitational at Long Beach State on Saturday, Apr. 15. 

Having last weekend off, the Hokies are ready to get back in action with a month to go until the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Freshman Judson Lincoln IV remains fourth in the nation after posting a sub-46 in the 400m at the Florida Relays. 

Triple Jumpers Cierra Pyles and Chauncey Chambers claimed their spots in the NCAA Top 10 with personal-best performances at the Florida Relays. Pyles is ranked eighth on the women's side with a mark of 43' 7.75" (13.30m), Chambers is fifth among men with a distance of 53' 9.75" (16.40m).  High Jumper Aidan Clark sits 14th in the Nation after clearing 7' 1" (2.16m) 

Freshman Kenna Stimmel opened the season tying her indoor personal-best height of 14' 7.25" (4.45m). Stimmel is currently ranked second in the NCAA behind the 2023 Big Ten Indoor Champion Chloe Timberg with a height of 14' 9" (4.50m). 

The Hokies begin action on Thursday at the Mt. SAC Relays.
