THE SERIES
- Virginia Tech is 10-3 all-time against the Monarchs, however, this will be Kristen Skiera's first clash with Old Dominion in her two years at Tech.
- Having last met on Feb. 27, 2019, a game in which the Hokies won 23-3, Virginia Tech is riding a three-game win streak in the series. The Hokies are averaging 20.7 goals per game in those contests.

- Freshman Ella Rishko had her second game of the season with 5+ goals, as she put seven past Louisville on Saturday.
- Her performance was the highest-scoring by a Tech player since March 4, 2020 (Paige Petty vs. William & Mary) and the most by a Tech player against an ACC opponent since March 31, 2018 (Paige Petty vs. Louisville).
- Rishko has 14 goals in Tech's last three ACC games.
