BLACKSBURG — The Virginia Tech men's golf team returns to South Carolina for the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate, which runs Monday-Tuesday at Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken.
Fifteen schools will be represented in the field, including tournament host USC Aiken and South Carolina. The Hokies are the lone ACC squad competing.
Palmetto Golf Club will be set as a par 70, playing at up to 6,617 yards. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. Tech is paired with South Carolina and Wisconsin for the opening two rounds. The pairing will tee-off at 8 a.m. on Monday.
The Hokies will travel Charlie Hanson, Kobe Valociek, Drew Brockwell, Daniel Azallion and Cameron Moore for their seventh tournament of the season. Azallion leads Tech with a 72.33 scoring average.
