Last time on the court, VT earned its eighth consecutive victory closing out the regular season with a road win at Georgia Tech last Sunday. In that game Elizabeth Kitley scored 29 points, a season high.
She went on to win ACC Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and fourth time this season.
Kitley then took home ACC Player of the Year honors Tuesday, winning it for the second year running. She became the first Tech athlete to be named to the ACC's First Team three times and she was picked as an All-Defensive Team selection for the second time.
Wednesday, she won the Kay Yow Scholar Athlete of the Year for the second season in a row. She is the first ACC athlete to win both Player of the Year and the Kay Yow Award two years in a row.
The Hokies also suit up First Team All-ACC guard Georgia Amoore and Second Team All-ACC forward Taylor Soule.
