Following its sixth practice of the spring, Virginia Tech football met with the media outside at Steve Johnson Practice Fields and conducted a press conference on Tuesday.

Read below for some highlights of what was said.

Offensive line coach Ron Crook

On if he likes to move guys around the offensive line:

"Yeah, I think you got to figure out who your best five are. It's not always the five best players, but more of who gels the best. The five that do that. So, I think you're always going to move guys around to make sure you've got the right thing. A lot of times, all you do is confirm that you have the right five in there. At times, hey, this guy really fits. His style of play or his skill set really helps us in this position or this situation. So, yeah, it's critical."

Offensive lineman Parker Clements

On what his first impressions of Coach Crook are:
"He's been awesome. He's holding us to a high standard. He's keeping us accountable. Him and Coach [Brent] Davis are holding us accountable and keeping everybody else in check. But it's been good. I've enjoyed it so far. Learning a lot, too."

Offensive lineman Kaden Moore

On how he would describe Coach Crook's coaching style:
"He teaches slow, like, he wants you to understand the techniques that he has from what we used to know. But yeah, he's been a great coach so far."
