BLACKSBURG — The Virginia Tech men's golf team gears up for its fourth tournament of the spring when it tees off at the Hootie at Bulls Bay. South Carolina and College of Charleston co-host the 54-hole event Sunday-Tuesday at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, S.C.

A par 72, 7,349-yard layout, Bulls Bay will test 15 teams over the next three days. Tech and NC State will be the only two teams representing the ACC at the tournament. The Hokies have finished fifth in three of their four events this spring.

Tech will go with the lineup of Charlie Hanson, Daniel Azallion, Kobe Valociek, Balthazar Duclos and Drew Brockwell. Hanson notched his first top 10 of the season by tying for ninth at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate earlier in the month.

Tee times for Sunday's first round and Monday's second round begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday's final round commences at 8 a.m. Fans will be able to follow the Hokies throughout the tournament via a live stream.

The Hokie Club and Virginia Tech Men's Golf are challenging Hokie Nation to make a Pledge Per Birdie throughout the 2023 season. To make a pledge or to learn more about the campaign, please click here.
