BLACKSBURG – The Hokies return to Thompson Field on Saturday at noon following a three-game road stand in search of a top-10 win. Fans can expect several promotions, including free waffles to celebrate International Waffle Day. Hokies lacrosse t-shirts will be given away to the first 150 students, along with Virginia Tech drink coasters for Student Hokie Club members.

THE SERIES

  • Virginia Tech is 5-23 all-time against the Eagles in a series that dates back to March 31, 2001. 
  • The Eagles have claimed the last five matchups, including a first-round matchup in the 2022 ACC Tournament in South Bend, Ind.
  • Tech is 4-6 against Boston College in home games.
  • Boston College has been ranked 10th or higher in seven of the last nine matchups with the Hokies.
