KNOXVILLE – The Hokie women finished out day three of the NCAA Championships, highlighted by Emma Atkinson earning All-American Honorable Mention in the 200 free. Atkinson touched the wall at 1:44.31 during prelims, placing 15th. She went on to swim 1:43.58 during finals, shaving off more time placing 10th.
Earlier in the day during prelims, Caroline Bentz tied for the fourth fastest time in Hokie history in the 100 back at 52.71.

Next on the lineup is Sarah Shackelford swimming the 100 free. On the boards, Izzi Mroz will compete in the platform diving event. In the afternoon, Chase Travis will take on a test of endurance, swimming the 1650 free.
