THE SERIES
- The Hokies are 2-10 all-time against Notre Dame, with both wins coming in the last four meetings.
- Tech earned its first ACC home win of the Kristen Skiera era in last year's matchup in Blacksburg with a 13-12 result. Despite trailing 6-2 in the second quarter, the Hokies stormed back for their second ranked win of 2022 (vs. JMU). Olivia Vergano and Sophie Student both recorded four goals and an assist each in last year's game.
- The Hokies are 0-6 all-time on the road against the Fighting Irish.

LAST TIME OUT
The Hokies exploded offensively last Saturday for a 19-6 win over Pitt.
Olivia Vergano led the charge for the Hokies, recording four goals and four assists. Claire Schotta added on four goals and two assists of her own.
Freshman Ella Rishko backed up her career best 5-goal performance against Elon with a 3-goal outing againt Pitt.
With their 13-goal win, the Hokies set a new program record for their largest margin of victory against another ACC program. The previous record was six (18-12) vs. Boston College on Feb. 18, 2018.
Six goals allowed also tied the record for fewest goals allowed in an ACC game by Tech this season, tying a mark set three times previously.
RISHKO'S ON A RUN
- In her last two games, Ella Rishko has eight goals, which leads all Tech players.
- The Rehoboth Beach, Del. native scored five goals against Elon, marking the most goals that a freshman has scored in a game since Vergano scored six against Furman last season.
