BLACKSBURG – Eight Hokies from the No. 20 ranked women's swim and dive team are headed to Knoxville for the 2023 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. The meet is set to run Wednesday through Saturday at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tenn.

LAST TIME OUT

Last year, the Hokie women finished 23rd overall with 37 points. With Emma Atkinson, Caroline Bentz, Sarah Shackelford and Chase Travis in attendance, the women came home with one All-American, three All-American Honorable Mentions and three school records.

HEAD COACH SERGIO LOPEZ MIRO

"I'm very excited for women's NCAA's. I think we have a great group and they're all ready for the competition. I think we can have a great meet if we can put together all of our relays and individual events. I'm looking forward to spending the week with the ladies and coaching staff to help the athletes be the best they can be. It's our fifth year as a group being here and hopefully we can make the Hokie family proud."
