AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Virginia Tech women's golf team finished 13th at the Valspar Invitational hosted by Augusta University, Saturday-Sunday, at Forest Hills Golf Club (par 72, 6,244 yards). Due to heavy rain, Sunday's final round was canceled.

Freshman Morgan Ketchum led the Hokies by tying for 30th at 3-over 147 (77-70). Her second-round 70 was the fourth red-figure round of Ketchum's season and two off her career low. She led Tech with seven birdies over the two days.

The Hokies tallied a 604 (309-295) to place 13th in the 14-team field. Second-ranked Wake Forest claimed the team title at 13-under 563 (279-284). Host Augusta was the runner-up at 2-under 574 (286-288).

Rachel Kuehn paced the Demon Deacons by winning the individual title with a 10-under 134 (68-66). Florida State's Charlotte Heath finished three strokes behind at 7-under 137 (71-66).
