INDIANAPOLIS – Being steady in each event he competed in, Virginia Tech defensive back Chamarri Conner shined at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium on Friday.
Conner was one of 19 safeties that participated in front of NFL scouts and personnel, and ranks seventh among safeties for his athleticism score, according to the NFL's next gen stats.
He clocked an official 4.51 seconds in the 40-yard dash and got off to a fast start with a 1.56-second split for his first 10 yards.
His best ranking out of the safeties was his vertical jump, climbing up to 40.5 inches to rank fourth.
