Hokies head to Raleigh for Monday night showdown with NC State

The 13th-ranked Virginia Tech women's basketball team is set for a 6 p.m. Big Monday matchup in Raleigh, N.C. with No. 15 NC State.

Last time on the court, VT defeated Syracuse 78-64 at Cassell Coliseum. Leading by two after three quarters, the Hokies used a 16-0 run to pull away from the Orange to earn a third consecutive win in the series for the first time. Four Hokies scored in double figures – Elizabeth Kitley (20), Cayla King (19), Georgia Amoore (15) and Taylor Soule (12).

The Wolfpack (16-6, 6-5) fell at Georgia Tech 68-62 last Thursday in their last contest.

The game is State's 18th annual Play4Kay Game.
