BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech Hokies never trailed Sunday afternoon against No. 19 FSU as Tech made their first two field goals, both triples, prompting FSU to take a timeout just 47 seconds into the ballgame. From there, the Hokies would continue their torrid start, dropping 34 points in the first quarter, which included eight three pointers.

Georgia Amoore scored a game-high 25 points, her second consecutive 25-point performance after scoring a season-high 27 at No. 22 NC State last Monday. She wasn't the only Hokie to score in double figures, as she was joined by Taylor Soule (18), Cayla King (12) and Elizabeth Kitley (11). The Hokies are 12-0 this season when four or more athletes score 10 or more points in a game.
