Then women's golf and both men's and women's tennis will travel for their season openers. This Thursday, you can come to watch the Hokies as they take on Norfolk State at 5:30 p.m. in Cassell Coliseum. The program will be celebrating Mental Health Awareness night. You can watch Thursday's match live on ACC Network Extra. Matches Friday are yet to be determined. They will be decided based on the results of Thursday's matches.

It's Military Appreciation Day and White Effect on Saturday at the Hokies game versus Wofford at 11 a.m. Before the game starts, come to Hokie Walk to see the football team as they head into Lane Stadium at 8:30 a.m. Then, head to Hokie Village for live music, a men's basketball autograph session and food trucks also starting at 8:30 a.m.

Women's tennis splits up for its season opener, with one group heading to Elon for a tournament on Friday through Sunday. Then, another group headed to William and Mary for a tournament on Saturday and Sunday all day.
