Hokie Nation continues to display incredible excitement and interest ahead of Virginia Tech Football's return to the gridiron this fall. The Tech athletics department announced on Thursday that the Hokies' matchup with West Virginia has sold out, along with sellouts of student season tickets and additional premium seating areas.

Lane Stadium is sure to be rocking when the Mountaineers visit Blacksburg for the first time since 2004. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday night, Sept. 22, which happens to be 28 years to the day Tech played its first-ever Thursday night game, also against WVU.

Fans still seeking ticket options for the West Virginia game are encouraged to visit StubHub, the official ticketing partner of Virginia Tech Athletics.

As a result of the West Virginia game selling out, season tickets packages are no longer available. Fans can still order customizable mini plans in 3- or 4-game packages starting at just $180.

Student season tickets are also sold out for Virginia Tech's upcoming campaign. Students without season tickets are encouraged to enter the ticket lottery for single game tickets two weeks prior to each home game.

The premium seating areas in Lane Stadium remain in high demand. Following an initial sellout of season tickets in the West side outdoor club back in July, West side indoor club season tickets and South End Zone club season tickets have also sold out. There is extremely limited inventory remaining in the Touchdown Terrace club area.
