Student Season Ticket holders,
Thank you for your tremendous support of Hokies' basketball thus far this season and for continuing to go to battle with us night in and night out. The atmosphere in Cassell has been electric and has added an impact both on our squad and opposing teams. As Miami Head Coach Jim Larrañaga said two weeks ago, "This arena [with] the noise level and the student involvement, is really one of the toughest places to play."
Tonight's Rescheduled Game vs. Pitt
As a reminder this evening's men's basketball game vs. Pitt was originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 1, over the holiday break, and thus was not included in the student season ticket package. In addition, all general public tickets to the game were sold out for the Jan. 1 matchup. Due to the need to honor these tickets, only a limited number of student tickets were available through the single-game student ticket lottery. While we would love to have you in Cassell with us tonight, we hope that you understand. We can't wait to be rockin' with you again this weekend when Syracuse comes to town on Saturday.
Thank you again for all that you do to make Cassell one of the best environments in all of college basketball.
Go Hokies!
