BLACKSBURG– Virginia Tech head women's tennis coach Terry Ann Zawacki-Holdren announced the 2023 spring slate on Tuesday.
The Hokies are set to play a total of 22 dual matches with 13 of those being held in the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.
The Hokies open the spring with a pair of home matches on Jan. 29 as Tech hosts ETSU in the morning and Davidson in the afternoon. Tech remains at home for matches against both Richmond and Radford on Feb. 4 followed by a trip to Charlotte (Feb. 11). Non-conference play will conclude with West Virginia coming to Blacksburg on Feb. 19.
Virginia Tech plays its first ACC match at home on Feb. 24 when defending ACC Champion Duke comes to town. The Hokies will remain at home on Feb. 26 to host North Carolina. Four road contents await the Hokies – Boston College (March 3), Syracuse (March 5) and Marshall (March 10) – before returning home to play a pair of conference matches against Louisville (March 17) and Notre Dame (March 19).
Tech plays two more matches in Blacksburg against Clemson (March 31) and Georgia Tech (April 2) followed by a four-match road trip to finish the season, ending in Raleigh, NC against NC State (April 16).
The ACC Championship Tournament will take place April 19-23 at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, NC.
