BLACKSBURG – Approaching two months to go until Opening Day, the Virginia Tech baseball team announced on Tuesday the slate of first pitch times for its 2023 home schedule as the Hokies prepare for another competitive season on the diamond at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park.
All times appearing on Virginia Tech's 2023 schedule are Eastern and – like all dates and opponents – are subject to change.
Tech's weekend series taking place at English Field before the first day of spring (March 20) are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on Fridays, 2 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 p.m. on Sundays. All remaining weekend series at home – with the exception of the Hokies' series against Bowling Green (May 6-7) – are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Fridays, 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 p.m. on Sundays.
On Saturday, May 6, Tech's home doubleheader against Bowling Green is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. The Hokies and the Falcons will conclude their series on Sunday, May 7, at 1 p.m.
Tech's midweek games, to be contested at home before the first day of spring – with the exception of the Hokies' two-game weekday series against UMass Lowell (March 7-8) – are scheduled to start at 4 p.m. All remaining midweek home games are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
First pitch times for Tech's weekday series against UMass Lowell are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, as well as 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8.
Season tickets for the Virginia Tech baseball team's 2023 campaign will go on sale on Wednesday, Dec. 14, courtesy of HokieSports.com.
Broadcast/streaming information pertaining to Virginia Tech home baseball games will be released at a later date.
