Tech basketball coaches shows set for return to radio airwaves

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech Sports Properties, the multimedia rights holder for Virginia Tech Athletics, has announced its coverage of Hokie men's and women's basketball for the winter on Wednesday.
 
The Kenny Brooks Show returns and will be hosted by Evan Hughes, the voice of Virginia Tech women's basketball. The next show will be on Nov. 15 and the following will be on Dec. 14, with both times taking place between 6-7 p.m. ET. The show will begin weekly starting in January. You can listen to the first episode that took place recently below.
 

 
Tech Talk Live! will begin featuring men's basketball head coach Mike Young and select players on Wednesday, Nov. 9 and Wednesday, Nov. 23, and then will last through the duration of the season weekly. The show will continue to be hosted by McClain's and First & Main in Blacksburg between 6-7 p.m.

The X's and O's podcast with Zach Mackey will switch over from football to men's basketball starting Dec. 1.

Men's basketball and women's basketball single-game tickets are available, including Thursday's men's game against Lehigh and Friday's women's matchup versus Bucknell, which are both Military Appreciation games.
