BLACKSBURG—The Virginia Tech volleyball team is on the road for the last time during the ACC season. The Hokies will travel to Chestnut Hill, Mass. to take on Boston College on Saturday, Nov.19 at 2 p.m.

Last Time against Boston College
Virginia Tech defeated the Eagles earlier this season in Cassel, 3-0. The Hokies never trailed to sweep the Eagles (27-25, 25-12, 25-12). Leading Tech's offense was led Sydney Petersen who finished the match with 11 kills and a hitting percentage of .526. Maddie Slagle led the Hokies on defense with nine digs. On the attack, Hanna Borer had a match-high 21 assists.
ACC Freshman of the Week
Hanna Borer was named the ACC Freshman of the Week on Tuesday, her second honor of the season. Playing in seven sets, Borer averaged 10 assists per set on 188 total attempts. She also recorded four kills for the Hokies and assisted in three blocks over the weekend. Defensively, Borer's 20 digs led the team. Borer had solid match against Wake Forest, recording 40 assists for the Hokies and 16 digs. Her 16 digs were two away from her career-high. The match against Wake Forest also marked her 12th double-double of the season, which is tied for third in the ACC. Borer currently leads the Hokies with 616 assists and 6.77 per set. She also ranks ninth in the ACC over her 91 sets played. She also ranks second on the team with 214 digs and 2.18 digs per set.
Last Weekend Leaders
Against Virginia and Wake Forest last weekend, Cera Powell led the Hokies offense over the two matches with 24 kills, followed by Sydney Petersen and Ava Francis with 17 kills. Hanna Borer continued to impress with 70 assists and an average of 10 per set over the two matches. Borer also led the defense with 20 digs, followed by Maddie Slagle with 10 digs.
Season-Highs
This past weekend Sydney Petersen recorded a new season-high in blocks against Wake Forest with a total of 8. This brings her season total of blocks up to 67.

The Hokies will play their final ACC match at Cassell Coliseum against Notre Dame on Friday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m.
