Notable Week 10 Performances
K Joey Slye
Washington starting placekicker Joey Slye had quite the evening at the office in a crucial Monday night victory over Philadelphia just a few days ago.
The former four-year starter with the maroon and orange went a perfect 4-for-4 in field goal attempts in the 32-21 win, booting through a career-long 58-yarder and a 55-yard try to help knock off the previously undefeated Eagles for the first time in 2022.
Up next for Slye, Logan Thomas, Kendall Fuller and the rest of the Commanders is a trip to Houston to face off against the Texans in an interconference matchup. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET Sunday with the game being televised on FOX.
OT Christian Darrisaw
Minnesota star offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw may have played just 44 snaps due to entering concussion protocol this past weekend in a thrilling 33-30 victory over Buffalo, but was still able to continue what has been a magical sophomore season at the professional ranks in the 2022 campaign.
The 2021 first-round draft pick recorded a stellar 92.8 run-blocking grade, according to Pro Football Focus, on Sunday afternoon, catapulting him to the highest-graded offensive lineman in the entirety of NFL with an 89.8 overall total to lead the way across the line.
Darrisaw will look to return to the mix on the Vikings' offensive line this upcoming Sunday, when the team plays host to the Dallas Cowboys for a 4:25 p.m. kick on CBS.
RB Khalil "Juice" Herbert
Chicago second-year running back Khalil Herbert added on to his impressive 2022 season this past weekend in the Bears' 31-30 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon.
The 2021 sixth-round draft pick carried the ball 10 times for 57 yards in the one-point defeat, showcasing his talents in multiple facets with an additional 50-yard burst in the kick-return game to cap off another solid day on the gridiron for the talented young prospect.
A hip injury will unfortunately keep Herbert sidelined this upcoming weekend when Chicago eyes returning to the win column down in Atlanta against the Falcons. But don't be surprised if the former fan-favorite during his time in Blacksburg doesn't skip a beat upon his return to the backfield when activated off Injured Reserve (IR).

Thursday, Nov. 17
Tennessee at Green Bay - 8:15 p.m. - Amazon Prime Video
Offensive linemen Yosh Nijman, Luke Tenuta and the Green Bay Packers aim for their second consecutive victory this upcoming weekend when they welcome in Caleb Farley and the Tennessee Titans to Lambeau Field in this week's edition of Thursday Night Football.
Nijman, an ex-undrafted free agent scooped up in 2019, played all 64 offensive snaps for the Packers back on Sunday afternoon, garnering a 69.4 pass-blocking grade in the team's potential season-altering 31-28 overtime win over Dallas. Tenuta, a sixth-round pick in this April's NFL Draft, still seeks to make his professional debut after being snagged off waivers from Indianapolis just a few short weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Farley, the No. 23 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, played just 10 snaps on special teams for the Titans this past weekend without securing a tackle. But with the ability to produce at the highest level that he was able to display throughout his Tech career, Hokie Nation feels assured that Farley will once again play a big role in the Titans' secondary for the remainder of the 2022 campaign.
Sunday, Nov. 20
Cleveland at Buffalo - 1 p.m. - CBS
Former Tech teammates Wyatt Teller, Tremaine Edmunds and Tim Settle prepare to line it up this upcoming weekend on opposing sides of the ball when the Cleveland Browns hit the road for Buffalo to take on the Bills inside Highmark Stadium.
Teller, a two-time All-Pro during his time in Cleveland, played on the team's offensive line for the first time in three weeks in the Sunday setback to Miami after dealing with a nagging calf injury. The 2021 Pro Bowler appeared on 11 offensive snaps this past weekend, while slowly working his way back into the mix for a team looking to find their footing in 2022.
Edmunds, on the other hand, appears to be dealing with an injury of his own. The 2018 first-round draft pick tallied three total tackles (2 solo) in the team's gut-wrenching loss to Minnesota back on Sunday, and remains questionable as to whether or not he'll be a good to go with a groin injury causing problems for the fifth-year pro.
Settle, however, appears to be the only Hokie that seems to be a full-go for the game. The former fifth-round draft pick garnered a single tackle last weekend in the overtime defeat, continuing to serve as a solid depth piece on Buffalo's defensive line.
Philadelphia at Indianapolis - 1 p.m. - CBS
Cornerback Brandon Facyson and the Indianapolis Colts aim to hand Philadelphia just its second loss of the season when they welcome the Eagles into Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Facyson, a first-year member of the Colts' secondary, didn't notch a single tackle this past weekend in the team's 25-20 victory over Las Vegas last Sunday afternoon, but has shown he can serve as a valuable piece on the defensive side of the ball so far this season in 2022.
N.Y. Jets at New England - 1 p.m. - CBS
Offensive lineman Duane Brown still hasn't missed a single snap on the offensive end since returning from an unspecified injury that kept him on the shelf for the first four games of the 2022 campaign.
Prior to enjoying a much-needed bye week, the 15-year veteran posted a team-best 87.2 pass-blocking grade in New York's 20-17 win over Buffalo two Sundays ago, providing a major boost to a team that's lost just once since Brown's return to the offensive line.
The surprising Jets will look to keep the train moving this upcoming Sunday, when they head east to New England to take on the Patriots in a crucial matchup in the AFC East.
Detroit at N.Y. Giants - 1 p.m. - FOX
Rookie tight end James Mitchell and the Detroit Lions eye their third consecutive victory this upcoming weekend when they hit the road for MetLife Stadium to take on Tyrod Taylor and the remainder of the New York Giants.
Mitchell, a sixth-round pick in this past April's NFL Draft, hauled in a single reception for four yards in the team's narrow 31-30 win over Chicago this past Sunday, continuing to show off his ability to stay heavily involved in a Lions offense that's vastly found its identity towards the back half of the season.
Taylor, a former three-time ACC champion during his time with the Hokies, has appeared in just one game so far this season, but has shown the ability in the past to come through in big situations if needed for a perennial contender in the NFC East.
Carolina at Baltimore - 1 p.m. - FOX
Standout safety Chuck Clark and the Baltimore Ravens return to action this weekend, seeking their third straight win when Raheem Blackshear, Amaré Barno and the Carolina Panthers come to the town to face off inside M&T Bank Stadium.
Clark, a sixth-year member of the purple and black, totaled a single tackle in Baltimore's 27-13 Monday night victory over New Orleans just under two weeks ago, adding on to another productive season roaming around Baltimore's secondary out in the Charm City.
Blackshear, a rookie running back that was signed off the Bills' practice squad early on in 2022, rushed for 32 yards on six carries in Carolina's Thursday night win over Atlanta inside Bank of America Stadium, while Barno appeared on two defensive snaps and played in his fourth consecutive contest for his hometown team.
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh - 4:25 p.m. - CBS
Fifth-year safety Terrell Edmunds racked up two total tackles for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the team's 20-10 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon.
The 2018 first-round draft pick remains a secondary stronghold in the Steel City for the black and yellow, and will get another opportunity to showcase that this weekend when the team welcomes the Cincinnati Bengals inside Acrisure Stadium for an intriguing one in the AFC North.
Monday, Nov. 21
San Francisco at Arizona - 8:15 p.m. - ESPN
Rookie offensive lineman Lecitus Smith looks to keep helping out up front on the Cardinals' offensive line when the team plays host to the San Francisco 49ers in this week's edition of ESPN's Monday Night Football.
Smith, a sixth-round pick in this past April's NFL Draft, earned his first start of his professional career on Sunday afternoon, playing on all 68 offensive snaps to help contribute to Arizona's 27-17 triumph over Las Vegas to help move the team into a more favorable position in the NFC West.
