Coming off a banner year that saw the program win its first-ever ACC tournament title, the Virginia Tech men's basketball team has announced its game promotions and theme days for the 2022-23 season.
Tech should be another top team once again, coming in at No. 21 in KenPom's preseason rankings. The Hokies return preseason All-ACC pick Justyn Mutts and guards Hunter Cattoor, Darius Maddox and Sean Pedulla, and add 6-foot-9 stretch five Grant Basile from Wright State along with several heralded freshmen.
Don't miss out on another impressive home slate at Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum, including matchups versus Dayton, Duke, Florida State, Miami (Fla.), Minnesota, North Carolina and Syracuse. There are plenty of ticket options available, including the 2 for $22 deal to the home opener (Delaware State), fan 4-packs, the ACC/B1G Challenge Bundle (Minnesota) and more.
Cassell Coliseum will be rocking once again this winter and will include a bevy of halftime acts, promotions and exciting themes. The schedule will feature several theme games, including 80s Night, Military Appreciation, Family Friday, Gobbler Game Night, Coaches vs. Cancer, Popcorn Bucket Giveaway and more.
Color-specific games return and are a part of some of the best games the venue will see, including a Black Out against Duke, Maroon Out versus Virginia and White out against Miami.
