BLACKSBURG, Va. — The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the Virginia Tech at North Carolina men's basketball game has been rescheduled for Monday, January 24, 2022. Tipoff is slated for 8 p.m. and will be televised by ACC Network.
The Hokies and the Tar Heels are set to meet for the 86th time. Tech is 1-2 against North Carolina under Coach Young.
With the rescheduled game, the Hokies will now have a three-game road swing beginning Thursday, Jan. 19 at NC State, followed by a Jan. 22 contest at Boston College, then UNC on Jan. 24.
It will be an important road tilt for the Hokies, who are ranked No. 37 in the NET rankings as of today. UNC checks in at No. 34.
