LAST TIME OUT

  • The Hokies dropped a midweek match to Davidson, 3-1, on the road on Tuesday night.
  • Tech came out of the gate strong and registered a couple good opportunities early. Seemingly against the run of play, Davidson scored off a corner when a player knocked the ball in with his elbow.
  • Danny Flores equalized off a penalty kick shortly after, but Davidson took the lead before heading into the half.
  • The Wildcats added a third goal as time expired.

  • Three of the four first-half goals that Tech has conceded has been in the last two games.
  • In five of the Hokies' seven losses, the game-winning goal has come after the 50th minute mark. Tech has been trailing at the 60th minute mark only three times this season.
