1. At what age did you begin playing volleyball and what do you love most about playing?
HB: I started playing volleyball at the age of eight but I grew up on the court. I love the competition and how fast the game is.
2. Why did you choose Virginia Tech?
HB: I chose Virginia Tech because I fell in love with the campus and If I wasn't playing volleyball, I would still want to attend Virginia Tech.
3. What are you most excited for as you head into your first season as a Hokie?
HB: For this season, I am most excited about how competitive we are and how much potential we have.
4. What position do you play and how did you begin playing that position?
HB: I am a setter and started playing it because my mother had me switch positions.
5. What is your major and why did you choose it?
HB: I'm majoring in criminology. I chose it because it's intriguing to me. There are so many fields you can go into.
6. Describe yourself in three words
HB: Funny, competitive and different
7. What is your favorite place to eat at in Blacksburg so far?
HB: My favorite place to eat so far is Benny's.
8. What does it mean to you to be a Hokie?
HB: To me, being a Hokie means community, family, pride, support and loyalty.
