BLACKSBURG – The ACC Network was in town this week and got to do a variety of things with Virginia Tech football for its annual ACC Football Road Trip show, which encompasses traveling to all 14 schools during fall camp.

The network got in on Thursday and former Tech receiver Eddie Royal started the trip with getting a facility tour with receiver Kaleb Smith. Then Kelsey Riggs sat down with four Hokies, including offensive lineman Silas Dzansi, athlete Connor Blumrick, tight end Nick Gallo and offensive lineman Johnny Jordan, for an interview on their relationships with head coach Brent Pry.

Following practice on Thursday, Royal gave a must-watch speech to the team, displaying his passion for the program and excitement for what's next under Pry.

On Friday, the network set up shop by the Steve Johnson Practice Field to take in a Virginia Tech football practice. A few Hokies visited the set during and after practice, including quarterback Grant Wells and Pry, and linebacker Dax Hollifield was mic'd up for a few moments during a drill.

During Pry's interview, he shared about why it's so easy for him to be himself at Tech and how it really is a dream come true for him to be the head coach in Blacksburg.

ACC Network will be back during the season, with the ACC Huddle crew being at Tech for the Boston College game on Saturday, Sept. 10. Be there for the team's home opener.
