Sarah Lubnow earns All-America honors

Graduate student attacker Sarah Lubnow earned All-America Honorable Mention honors USA Lacrosse Magazine announced. Lubnow lead the Hokies in scoring with 46 goals and 63 points in 2022.

This season, the Falls Church, Virginia native scored in every game and notched a hat trick nine different times, including a five-goal effort in a home win over Elon.

Against Syracuse, Lubnow dished out an assist, the 69th of her career to overtake Katy McBrearty as the program's all-time leader in assists. She would finish her career with 73.

She scored the 100th goal of her career in the game against Duke. Lubnow's career 184 points rank fifth all-time in program history.

Her 46 goals and 63 points in a single season were both career highs in 2022.

She already owns a degree is business information technology and will earn her Master's in business analytics.
