Weather cancels Wednesday's Tech-Marshall baseball game

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Wednesday's baseball game between No. 5 Virginia Tech and Marshall – as originally scheduled for 3 p.m. in Huntington, West Virginia – has been cancelled due to overnight precipitation in the Tri-State area.
 
The contest will not be rescheduled.
 
Virginia Tech (31-10, 14-8 ACC) will resume its regular season schedule on Saturday, May 7, when the Hokies open a two-game weekend series at home against Villanova. First pitch at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park is scheduled for 2 p.m.
