BLACKSBURG — The Virginia Tech women's golf team, ranked 31st in the country by Golfstat, makes its way to Pawleys Island, South Carolina for this week's ACC Women's Golf Championship at The Reserve Golf Club.

Twelve teams are set to compete beginning Thursday, April 14 at the par 72, 6,212-yard layout. Thursday will feature 36 holes of continuous stroke play, followed by Friday's 18-hole final round of stroke play. Upon completion of the 54 holes, the top four teams will advance to the weekend and switch to a match play format to decide the ACC champion.

Tech will be paired with No. 4 seed Duke and No. 6 seed Clemson for Thursday's opening two rounds. The Hokies will tee-off Thursday between 8-8:40 a.m. on hole No. 1. Wake Forest, Virginia and Florida State claimed the top three seeds, respectively.

One point will be on the line this week for the Commonwealth Clash, presented by Smithfield, as Tech and UVA will battle to be the top finisher following stroke play.

The Hokies' lineup will consist of Emily Mahar, Becca DiNunzio, Keerattriya Foocharoen, Symone Henriques, Ginnie Lee and Alyssa Montgomery. Mahar is ranked No. 46 in the country, which is eighth-best among ACC golfers.

The 2022 event will mark the 33rd ACC Championship in league history and the second appearance at The Reserve Golf Club. Duke won the 2017 title when the championship was last contested in the Low Country.

Sunday's championship match will be streamed on ACC Network Extra beginning at 9 a.m.
