BLACKSBURG – On the eve of hosting a top-25 series at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park, the No. 21 Virginia Tech baseball team is excited to announce promotions and gameday experience elements fans can expect when attending the Hokies' three games against No. 2 Miami between Thursday, April 14, and Saturday, April 16.

THURSDAY, APRIL 14 – BOY BAND NIGHT
Fans are invited to grab a front-row seat at English Field and rock out with the Hokies on Thursday when Tech celebrates Boy Band Night, featuring a free Hokies band T-shirt for early-arriving fans. All in attendance may listen to their favorite boy band tunes, watch video board clips of iconic boy band performances, compete in themed games and be entertained by a live in-venue emcee.
SATURDAY, APRIL 16 – FIRST RESPONDERS DAY
Fans are invited to join the Hokies in honoring their local heroes on Saturday when Tech celebrates First Responders Day. Prior to Saturday's national anthem, Tech will hold a moment of silence as the Hokies reflect on Remembrance Day, remembering the 32 Virginia Tech students and faculty members who were tragically taken from the campus community on April 16, 2007.
Throughout the day, fans are welcome to participate in an egg hunt, meet the HokieBird, see Skipper and have their faces painted while partaking in a variety of ballpark games and more. Fans may also collect Tech baseball trading cards of the Hokies' 2022 junior class (while supplies last) and stick around after the game to have their trading cards signed by their favorite Tech players.
Following Saturday's series finale between Tech and Miami, any and all kids are invited to run the bases at English Field (weather permitting).
CONCESSIONS SPECIALS & FOOD TRUCKS
During Tech's Friday and Saturday games against Miami, fans are welcome to chow down on the "Cuban Hokie" – a ham and smoked pork sandwich on a grilled hoagie roll that is topped with smoky chipotle mayonnaise and buttered pickles. Fans are also encouraged on Friday and Saturday to snack at the Bluegrass BBQ food truck located along the right field patio inside English Field.
TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets are required for access to Virginia Tech's five ACC home series this season at English Field, including this weekend when the Hokies welcome Miami to Blacksburg.
Individual tickets are priced at $10 while youth ages 6 to 18 are set at $5 (children ages 5 and under are free). Virginia Tech students receiving tickets through the student lottery portal may also access home games for free.
Upon entry, seating inside English Field is general admission.
CASHLESS TICKETING & CONCESSIONS
All ticket and concessions transactions at English Field are cashless for the duration of the 2022 season (charge cards are required). Fans who do not have access to a debit or credit card should consider purchasing prepaid cards at Kroger in advance of the game, or purchasing gift cards within the ballpark at the Hokie Shop (limited availability).
RETURN FOUL BALLS FOR FREE BACON
Any and all fans who return foul balls to the English Field marketing table will receive a voucher for free bacon courtesy of Smithfield.
