BLACKSBURG – Following Virginia Tech football's eighth practice of spring ball, radio analyst Mike Burnop interviewed receiver Da'Wain Lofton for a practice report, presented by Geico, inside Beamer-Lawson Indoor Practice Facility on how the day went and how the receiver group is making progress.
Read what the pair had to say below.
Burnop: What are your overall impressions of spring practice so far?
Lofton: Spring practice has been going pretty well. We are getting better. Everybody is competing and getting better each day. Everything has been going smooth right now. We're just installing new plays and learning every day. So, we're just trying to get ready for that spring game.
Burnop: How is your relationship with receiver coach Fontel Mines?
Lofton: Coach Mines and I have developed a great relationship. We're just building each and every day and are learning this new system together. He's been helping each and every one of us in that room.
