Chrysostom and Fishback claim ACC honor for second time this season

GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second time this season, Jordan Chrysostom and Ryan Fishback have been named the ACC Doubles Team of the Week. The duo went 2-0 this past weekend against No. 27 North Carolina and No. 40 Duke, including a 6-3 victory against No. 4 Brian Cernoch and Mac Kiger.

Chrysostom and Fishback, the No. 33-ranked pair in the country, share this week's honor with Chris Rodesch and Ryan Goetz of Virginia.

The duo is 7-2 this season playing on Court 1. Of their seven triumphs, Chrysostom and Fishback have downed ranked competition four times. After defeating No. 43 Andrew Fenty and Nino Ehrenschneider of Michigan on Jan. 16, the two picked up the ACC award for the first time.

Last season, the two went 9-4 and earned a spot in the NCAA Championship doubles field. Chrysostom and Fishback defeated four ranked teams in their run last year, including the No. 4 pair of Carl Soderlund and William Woodall.
