Three Hokies earned ACC All-Tournament Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – After leading No. 21 Virginia Tech women's basketball to the semifinals for the first time in school history, Georgia Amoore, Aisha Sheppard and Kayana Traylor were named to the ACC's All-Tournament Team Sunday.

Amoore was named to the first team, becoming the first Hokie to earn the prestigious honor. Amoore racked up 49 points, 14 assists and nine rebounds in Tech's three games in Greensboro.

Both Sheppard and Traylor were named to the second team. Sheppard totaled 50 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, while Traylor had 53 points, five rebound and four assists.

The Hokies (23-9, 13-5 ACC) will find out where they will be headed for the NCAA Tournament this upcoming Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. According to ESPN's Bracketology by Charlie Creme, Tech is projected as a No. 5 seed.
