NFL Scouting Combine: Day 1 Recap

INDIANAPOLIS – Making it look effortless, Virginia Tech football wide receiver Tré Turner was smooth in his first run of the 40-yard dash, turning in an unofficial time of 4.44 at the NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday evening.

It would later be deemed a 4.51 officially.



Turner also had a solid performance catching the football while running across the field, showing off his steady hands.



Besides the receivers, the tight ends also participated on Thursday, but James Mitchell, who is recovering from surgery he had this fall, did his physical and no drills or bench press.
