BLACKSBURG – One of the greatest tests one can do in the weight room is see how far they can go when lifting. Topping out at a weight you couldn't get to before is an exhilarating feeling and is one that a good amount of Virginia Tech football players felt Friday, which was dubbed 'Max Day.'
The energy was high for the group, with music blasting and players pumping each other up before they did a rep.

For the coaches, they enjoyed being able to cheer on their players in their position groups and help encourage them to get the weight up.
