BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech will be put to the test this weekend, as it faces No. 1 North Carolina and No. 9 Duke on the road in its second weekend of ACC competition.

Virginia Tech split its first weekend of ACC play with a win against No. 67 Syracuse then a loss to Boston College. In their dramatic 4-3 victory over the Orange, the Hokies relied on Elizabet Danailova to clinch their first ACC win of the season. While defending its home court well, Tech is still seeking its first road win of the season.
 
TAR HEELS
North Carolina enters the match undefeated and the top team in the country. The team's talent is reflected in its lineup, which consists of five ranked singles players: No. 7 Cameron Morra, No. 10 Reilly Tran, No. 13 Elizabeth Scotty, No. 25 Carson Tanguilig and No. 35 Fiona Crawley. The Tar Heels also have three options of ranked doubles pairs: No. 2 Fiona Crawley/Elizabeth Scotty, No. 20 Alle Sanford/Reilly Tran and No. 54 Fiona Crawley/Reilly Tran.
 
BLUE DEVILS
