Hokies travel to take on No. 1 North Carolina Saturday morning

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech lacrosse team (8-4, 2-2) will travel to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to take on the No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m. The game will be shown on ACC Network. 
 
The Hokies are coming off a 14-11 win against the Elon Phoenix this past Wednesday. Sarah Lubnow (5 goals) and Sophie Student (3 goals, 1 assist) each recorded hat tricks to lead the Hokies' attack.
 
On the defensive end, Student and Jordan Tilley each caused multiple turnovers and sophomore goalie Lilly Kannapell earned the first decision in her career, making seven saves in the game.
