HOKIES
Virginia Tech found itself on the unfortunate side of a tight ACC matchup last Sunday, falling 4-3 to No. 59 Florida State. Despite picking up three points in singles, including two three-set wins by Semra Aksu and Erika Cheng, a narrow doubles point that went to the visitors was the deciding factor. The Hokies are searching for their first conference win since Feb. 25, when they defeated No. 67 Syracuse, 4-3.
FIGHTING IRISH
Notre Dame dropped two matches last weekend on the road against Clemson and Georgia Tech. Its most recent victory came against the Hokies' upcoming Sunday opponent, Louisville. At the top of the Fighting Irish's lineup sits No. 90 Page Freeman, while Freeman and Maria Olivia Castedo make up the No. 32 doubles duo.
CARDINALS
Louisville currently sits at the bottom of the ACC standings after falling to Clemson and Georgia Tech in its last two conference matches. Despite struggle against ACC competition, the Cardinals are 8-1 in non-conference play, including wins over Xavier and Marshall, teams that Tech split results against earlier this season.
